Description
Job Summary -
To assist the other nursing staff in the day-to-day activities of the office in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the office. To ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Regulatory Requirements
- Must be Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the AAMA or State of Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
- Associates Degree in Medical Assisting or NCLEX for LPN is required.
- A minimum of 5 years in a medical practice or outpatient setting is required.
Language Skills
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Previous experience with an EMR system is preferred.
