Job Summary -
Assists the pharmacists by filling physician orders for medications for oral, rectal, topical, inhalation and injectable use; prepares labels, prepares and records charge slips; performs other pharmacy related duties.
Regulatory Requirements
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Completed an approved training program pursuant to Ohio Administrative Code or has complied with the reciprocity requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code
- Is registered with the state board of pharmacy
- One-year related pharmacy experience preferred.
- Education in all age groups ranging from newborn to the geriatric population obtained either in school education, experience or subsequent training.
Language Skills
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Must be motivated.
