Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos, highlighting craftsmanship and design details
- Assist customers with selecting jewelry pieces that match their style and preferences, upselling when appropriate
- Maintain attractive visual merchandising and ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and organized
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Stock shelves, manage inventory levels, and participate in regular stock replenishment activities
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers
- Support sales goals through effective communication skills, upselling techniques, and product knowledge
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments, preferably with supervising or leadership responsibilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about jewelry features and care
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, and maintaining an organized sales floor
