What are the responsibilities and job description for the RESIDENTIAL FACILITIES ASSISTANT position at Mary Cariola?
Pay Rate: $22-$25 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities
- Remain compliant with all Agency and program specific policies and procedures
- Make repairs to the residences and its contents
- Provide interior improvements such as patching drywall, painting, etc. as needed
- Maintain and monitor all residential building systems; performing routine preventive maintenance as necessary
- Maintain exterior premises of the residential property including snow removal, grass cutting, gardening, tree pruning, etc.
- Maintain and monitor required Life Safety devices
- Assure all residential vehicles are maintained properly and that all necessary inspections are completed
- Construct simple therapy/residential materials and/or equipment as designed by the treatment team to paint, varnish and/or cover such materials and/or equipment
- Transport materials and/or equipment between residences
- Assist the Activities Coordinator at each applicable residence in the opening and closing of the pools
- Provide needed repairs to equipment and appliances as warranted at the residences
- Tend to emergencies that may arise at any of the residences
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid NYS Driver’s License
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English including interpreting documents such as safety rules and policy and procedure manuals
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year related experience
- General knowledge of building systems (plumbing, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, etc.), blueprints and building code
