Duties:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
- Assist with procedures such as gastric lavage, cardiac catheterization, and Botox injections.
- Perform laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis.
- Assist with health coaching and patient education.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Coordinate discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions for patients.
Skills:
- Experience working with children in a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control practices.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires a valid LPN license. Candidates must have experience in the mentioned areas and possess the necessary skills to perform the duties effectively. The ability to adapt to changing situations, work well within a team, and provide compassionate care is essential.
