Objectives of this Role
- Provide customized, high-quality manicures, pedicures, and standard cosmetology services.
- Consult thoroughly with clients to assess nail health and desired beauty goals.
- Build a loyal local clientele through exceptional care, consistency, and referrals.
- Promote professional retail products and additional salon services to enhance client care.
- Uphold strict state health regulations regarding tool sterilization and station cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute precision nail shaping, cuticle care, and advanced polish applications.
- Apply and safely remove acrylics, hard gels, soft gels, dips, and extensions.
- Design unique, trend-forward nail art ranging from minimalist styles to intricate graphics.
- Deliver soothing hand, arm, calf, and foot massages during spa treatments.
- Perform supplementary cosmetologist duties such as basic hair styling, face waxing, or makeup application if scheduled.
- Sanitize all metal implements, foot baths, and workstations strictly between client bookings.
- Manage point-of-sale transactions and update customer preference profiles in salon software.
Requirements and Qualifications
- License: Active State Board Cosmetology or Nail Technician license in good standing.
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or graduate of an accredited beauty academy.
