Quality Assurance Specialist

Needs to be currently using or had very recent professional use of VB/VBScript or another scripting language.

- Must be proficient and able to read, write, and debug scripting code.

- Must be actively performing QA Test Script creation, execution, debugging, and reporting results with a hands on approach (this is not a QA Analyst Team Lead or Managerial position).

- Must be actively using SQL and be comfortable reading, writing, debugging, and executing SQL commands and queries.

On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for an IT Quality Assurance Specialist IV for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Houston office 77079.

IT Quality Assurance Specialist IV - Job Description:

The IT Quality Assurance Specialist IV will be responsible for ensuring that software deliverables meet the highest industry standards. The role involves designing and executing automated test plans, interpreting system requirements, and tracking quality assurance metrics. The specialist will work in an Agile environment to drive continuous quality improvements.

IT Quality Assurance Specialist IV - Responsibilities:

IT Quality Assurance Specialist IV - Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related fields

• 6 years of experience as a QA automation engineer

• Hands-on experience with UFT, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework, or JMeter

• Proficiency in VBScript, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby

• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Experience writing complex SQL queries

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
