Position Details
- Position: Dental Assistant
- Schedule: Full-time
- Compensation: $17 – $22 per hour (commensurate with experience)
- Location: Primary office in Huntington, IN, with travel to nearby Marvel Dental locations as needed
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures and exams
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Provide excellent patient care and chairside support
- Ensure smooth workflow and adherence to infection control protocols
Requirements
- Prior dental assisting experience is mandatory
- Ability to commute between multiple nearby office locations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Availability to start immediately
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Dental Radiography Certification (if applicable in Indiana)
- Familiarity with common dental software and charting systems
