Job Opening: Donations Organizer/Sorter
General
Part time 25-28 hours per week
As scheduled-Monday through Saturday-8:00 am until 5:00 pm
Pay begins at minimum wage
Benefits: positive environment/ noon meal (Mon.-Fri)/ Supplemental insurance available
MARVA is a smoke/tobacco free environment
Drug screen and background check required
Adhere to all policies, procedures, and principles of MARVA Workshop
*Job requires individual to work in the store or preparation area as assigned by the store manager
-Sort Donated Clothing
Sort clothing donated by the public (this is the primary need for this position)
Sort items that are not clothing into separate buggies
Sort out trash separately
- Outside donations
Assist customers with donations (unload, questions, receipts, etc)
Consult with store manager/assistant store manager when unsure to accept donation or not
Process and store donated items in proper locations
Move and/ or relocate donated items
Help keep the customer traffic flowing
Make sure area remains organized and safe
Move donations from outside storage areas to inside prep area

Promote positive community and customer relationships
Promote teamwork and a positive work environment
Responsible for opening and/or closing office as arranged
Work in any area needed to balance team
Willing to perform other duties as assigned
