Role Description The Head of Investor Relations | USA Market to support our UK, EU & Asian Market teams and will lead all investor-facing engagement and strategy for MARV at the Pre-Seed Level activities related to the United States market. This hybrid role is based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with the flexibility to work partly from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and delivering investor presentations, managing relationships with prospective investors, and coordinating regular updates on performance, strategy, and milestones.
The role will oversee the preparation of financial and market analysis to support investment narratives, collaborate with leadership on fundraising initiatives, and ensure consistent, compliant messaging across all investor touchpoints. The Head of Investor Relations will also monitor market trends, investor sentiment, and competitive landscapes to inform leadership and refine communications strategy.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Investor Relations with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives for US-based investors.
- Robust Finance and Investments background, including familiarity with capital markets, valuation principles, and fundraising processes.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, with a track record of interpreting financial data, market trends, and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage institutional and individual investors across different time zones and cultural contexts.
- Prior experience in technology, fintech, legal tech, or AI-driven businesses is highly beneficial, especially in early-stage or growth-stage environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid setting, coordinating effectively with London-based colleagues while driving initiatives focused on the USA market.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Law, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are an advantage.
- High level of integrity, sound judgment, and familiarity with relevant regulatory and compliance considerations in investor communications.
Compensation & Equity
This role includes a shares package incentive, giving successful candidates the opportunity to share directly in MARV's growth as the company scales through Pre-Seed and beyond.
- Equity grant offered as part of the total compensation package, in addition to base compensation, with allocation commensurate with experience and scope of role.
- Vesting subject to a standard schedule (e.g., 4-year vesting with a 1-year cliff), to be detailed in the formal offer and equity agreement.
- Reflects our belief that key leadership hires — especially those driving investor relationships during our fundraising journey — should be meaningfully invested in the company's long-term success.
