Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain floors through carpet cleaning, floor care, and appropriate custodial techniques to ensure safety and appearance
- Execute detailed sanitation procedures in kitchens and bathrooms to uphold health standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ needs promptly and professionally
- Manage housekeeping supplies inventory and notify management when restocking is necessary
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as scheduling, training new team members, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or janitorial roles with a focus on sanitation and cleanliness
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and general custodial practices
- Ability to perform laundry duties efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus
