PCH Store Meat Department Associate - TEMP

ESSENTIAL DUTIES in the Meat Department (Meat Clerk) (responsibilities include, but are not limited to):

·         Stocking and unpacking Meat

·         Setting up and maintaining the condition of the Meat Department according to company standards

·         Ensures Meat is handled, stocked, and merchandised

·         Checks product area temperature to ensure freshness and quality

·         Processing and/or wrapping Meat items prior to filling designated areas

·         Cutting, labeling, and wrapping Meat

·         Operating pallet jack, scissor lift, baler, compactor and scrub machine

·         Maintaining cleanliness of the store/ store upkeep

·         Must clean and sanitize work areas

·         Work Environment will be in extreme temperature

Customer Service:

·         Providing premier customer service, including greeting them and responding to questions

·         Engaging in suggestive selling and other sales techniques

·         Meets or exceeds Department’s sales goals assigned through the efficient execution of Company policies and procedures

·         Maintains cleanliness of work area, storage area, and selling floor

·         Ensures a safe and clean work environment

·         Cross Training

·         Store Support Associates exemplify teamwork and are open to and willing to be trained and step in when needed in all departments and similar skilled areas for filling and development opportunities.
