Role: Business Development Specialist (Bilingual – English/Japanese)
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Travel: Up to 50%
We are excited to be recruiting for a Business Development Specialist (Bilingual) on behalf of Marubeni Plant Contractor, Inc. (MPCI), a general contractor serving the industrial market across the U.S.
This is a great opportunity for a professional who combines business development skills, client relationship management, and industrial/construction project support experience.
What this role involves:
- Developing new business with existing and prospective clients.
- Supporting project teams with estimating, planning, and preconstruction activities.
- Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Working closely with our Japanese-speaking customers.
- Assisting project teams to help ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Ideal background:
- Bilingual in English and Japanese
- 3 years of experience in the industrial or construction field
- Construction Management degree preferred
- Experience with estimating support, scheduling, contract language, subcontractor coordination, and client-facing project support
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
