Job Responsibilities
Install, maintain, trouble shoot, and do repairs on CNC Machines (Citizen & Miyano helpful)
Assist in field start-up and customer training when necessary.
Replace ball screws, motors and cartridge spindles
Use ladder and diagnostic functions on all controls
Phone support for troubleshooting; daily and heavy at times
Perform first part run off; ensuring machine acceptance
Domestic travel and international travel required (Mexico and Canada)
Align and interface the barfeed unit
Align and adjust tools
Repair spindle bearings
Qualifications & Skills
Domestic and occasional international (Canada, Mexico)
3-6 years experience in CNC machine tooling
1-4 years Swiss experience helpful
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, read ladder diagrams and control diagnostics
Electrical, mechanical and automation experience
Interact professionally with customers by phone and in person
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Valid driver’s license and passport
Proficient in geometry
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently
Demonstrate initiative
