Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accurate patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions, including medication compounding, labeling, and packaging with precision and aseptic technique.
• Manage medication inventory, including ordering, stocking, and verifying stock levels to ensure medication availability.
• Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensing, patient interactions, and pharmacy activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, offering medication guidance, and supporting overall patient care initiatives.
• Answering phones throughout the day for patients and refills as well as many other patient needs.

Requirements

• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools.
• Certification as a pharmacy technician is required; ongoing education in pharmacy practice is a plus.
