What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Picker (Night Shift) for Local Foods Distributor position at Marty's Local?
Marty's Local, a retail and foodservice distributor, is looking for a night shift order picker / warehouse selector to join our team. We are a growing company with a positive, appreciative culture and a great group of people. The right candidate will be a self-starter and will bring efficiency and accuracy to the role and help with extending our high levels of service to our customers.
- Must have 2-3 years of experience working in a warehouse selecting.
- Must know how to operate electric and hand pallet jacks.
- Must have experience in loading trucks.
- History of working with a bin selecting system.
- Working in multiple temperature zones.
- The ability to lift 60 or more pounds.
- The ability to walk 12K to 15K steps per night.
- Passion for LOCAL FOOD and supporting the local food system is a bonus.
Hours are 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Compensation is $25.00 per hour, or commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
