Automotive Lead Journeyman Service Technician Responsibilities:
The Journeyman Service Technician is responsible for repairing, servicing or maintaining all vehicles in accordance with the manufacture and dealership standards.
- Properly diagnose and repair the first time with precision and accuracy
- Ability to use specialized system diagnostic tools to identify repair needs and components accurately and timely
- Responsible for communicating professionally with Service Advisors, Parts Advisors, and Customers when required.
- Document and update repair files as required with detailed notes and testing results
- Following working instructions of the manufacture and dealership to properly document, diagnose and repair vehicles.
- Complete repairs on Domestic and Import models.
- Ability to work in a Team environment that produces positive results for our clients.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to think outside of the box when required.
- Must be professional, dependable and ability to work in a fast-paced environment each day.
Automotive Lead Journeyman Service Technician Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- 5 years minimum experience as a Journeyman Automotive Technician
- Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep or Ram Experience preferred, but not required
- Missouri State Inspector License preferred, but not required
- Must have own Tools
- ASE Certification preferred, but not required.
- Basic Computer Skills
- Automotive training or equivalent work experience with proven track record.
- Positive work attitude
