POSITION SUMMARY:
The Camp Concierge is focused entirely on providing personalized, high-touch service to Members and their guests. The priority is fostering relationships, anticipating needs, and ensuring an exceptional private club experience. The position is responsible for communicating with and coordinating the needs of the Martis Camp Members and their guests while managing front desk operations. This role works closely with all departments and staff to consistently deliver the Martis Camp experience through exceptional service, efficient operations, and thoughtful coordination. This role also supports the Communications manager with information collection and distribution.
Guided by the Club’s offerings, amenities, programming, and events, the Concierge operates within the boundaries of the yearly schedule, budget, and Club Rules under the direction of the Communications Manager and in accordance with the Club’s Vision, Mission, goals, and service standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a professionally courteous manner, providing accurate information, direction, and assistance to Members, guests, and vendors.
Manage and assist Members with reservations and access across all Martis Camp departments, amenities, and services.
Maintain a strong knowledge of Martis Camp communications, information and reservation systems and how to use them to assist and teach Members.
Support other Concierge teammates in adhering to the Ambassador Handbook and the Concierge Team’s policies and procedures.
Maintain logs of activity and keep fellow Ambassadors informed of current information.
Organize and distribute packages, business mail, magazines, and other deliveries.
Maintain strong, positive communication and a cooperative, supportive work environment with all staff, Members and guests.
Demonstrate a superior service attitude and polished presentation, promoting a positive “can-do” approach and anticipating Member and guest needs.
Uphold high ethical and moral standards, including personal appearance and behavior reflective of Martis Camp’s leadership values.
Perform additional duties as needed to support safety, service standards, and departmental or Club-wide operations in place to fulfill Martis Camp’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships within the organization.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Effective listening and guest service skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in computer use, basic technical troubleshooting, accurate data entry, and effective electronic communication.
High ethical, moral, and confidentiality standards.
Ability to work independently, prioritize, multi-task, and complete assignments within various time constraints.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or a related field preferred.
Prior experience in a Concierge, Front Office, or Member/Guest Services position preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
WAGE RANGE: $26 per hour
