As Bid Manager, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end bid process, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to produce winning submissions for rail, infrastructure, and civil construction opportunities. You'll work closely with operational leaders, estimators, commercial teams, and executive stakeholders to develop strategic, customer-focused proposals that showcase Martinus Group's capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex bids and tenders from opportunity through to submission.
- Develop bid strategies that align with client requirements and business objectives.
- Coordinate input from technical, commercial, operational, HSE, and finance teams.
- Write, edit, and review compelling proposal content that clearly communicates our value proposition.
- Manage bid schedules, milestones, reviews, and governance processes.
- Ensure submissions are compliant, accurate, and professionally presented.
- Maintain and improve bid libraries, templates, and submission processes.
- Support post-tender presentations, clarifications, and client engagement activities.
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and bid performance reviews.
You'll ideally bring:
- Experience managing bids within construction, rail, infrastructure, engineering, or related industries.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Outstanding written communication and editing abilities.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing competing deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience with public and private sector procurement processes is highly regarded.
