Seeking qualified individuals to serve as head coaches and assistant coaches during the 2026 - 2027 Fall sports season.
This extra-curricular activity is overseen by the Martinsville City Public Schools Athletic Director.
These positions are currently open to internal applicants.
Closing Date: Open until filled
Coaching Stipend: Paid as a one-time stipend at the end of the sports season
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the sport; special training preferred
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work collaboratively with staff and administrators in the coordination of the program
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with students and parents
- Ability to model and promote a culture of high expectations for academics and sportsmanship
- Experience working with diverse populations including students with disabilities and students who are English language learners
- Previous coaching experience preferred
