What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Payroll Specialist position at Martinez Steel LLC?
Industry leader in rebar fabrication and installation located in Ontario, CA searching for payroll accountant to join our team. Ideal candidate will have high attention to detail, developed organizational and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Prepare certified payroll and upload all additional required labor compliance documents to various sites such as LCPTracker, eMars, DIR, etc
- Reconcile Timecard Reports to Certified Payroll Reports
- Submit pre-job labor compliance documents (i.e. DAS Forms, Fringe Benefits Statement, apprenticeship certificates, etc)
- Maintain Union employee hard copy files and electronic documents.
- Complete and process forms and documentation for administration of insurance benefits, retirement plan, unemployment and disability benefits, and payroll garnishments for Union employees
- Prevailing Wage and/or Union Experience preferred
- Attention to detail in data entry and other administrative duties
- Ensure all certified payroll documents are kept in an organized manner both electronically and physically
- Update the project team on the progress of certified payroll reporting
- Maintain the union rates for project contracts and fringe benefit adjustments
- Intermediate Excel (vlookups & pivot tables)
- Ability to meeting strict deadlines for our Labor Compliance reporting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
