Duties
- Greet guests warmly, take their orders promptly, and provide menu recommendations to enhance their dining experience
- Use Aloha POS and Micros POS systems to process orders efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and open/close registers with precision and integrity
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, and food safety compliance as needed
- Support kitchen staff by providing timely service and ensuring guest requests are fulfilled promptly
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless transaction processing
- Strong culinary knowledge and food industry experience, including food handling, preparation, and sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Effective time management to prioritize tasks during high-volume service periods
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs is a plus for delivering exceptional service in diverse settings
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction balancing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
