What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wholesale Backup Driver position at Martin Wine Cellar?
Wholesale Backup Driver Job Requirements:
- Safe driving record; Class D licensure preferred
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Delivery experience preferred
- Lifting and carrying 50 pound wine/liquor boxes majority of the day
- Exceptional customer service skills while on deliveries throughout the city/state
- Ability to work well under little to no supervision
- Full time position with weekends off
Wholesale Backup Driver Duties:
- Back up the Wholesale driving team and relieves team members during time off, sick days, etc.
- Drive safely in various weather conditions
- Navigate a variety of routes throughout the city/state while adhering to a time schedule
- Load and unload goods to be delivered
- Complete and maintain driver logs and reports
- Pull orders and other inventory organization projects as assigned when not driving
