We're looking for a Terminal Manager who is passionate about developing people, driving operational excellence, and leading a high-performing team.
Shift: First Shift (hours as business needs require)
Responsibilities- Lead daily terminal operations while ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused service.
- Maintain compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Coach, mentor, and develop drivers and terminal staff.
- Establish, monitor, and improve operational performance metrics.
- Identify efficiencies through technology and process improvements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Analyze operational data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture.
- Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to motivate teams and drive change.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience creating and improving workflows and operational processes.
- Effective negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with TMW, Samsara, or other transportation management software is preferred.
- A hands-on leader who leads by example.
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced transportation environment.
