Job Description
Martin Transport Solutions LLC is seeking a reliable Box Truck Owner-Operator Team consisting of a driver and helper to perform appliance deliveries and basic installations throughout Baton Rouge and surrounding areas.
This position involves delivering appliances into customers’ homes while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
Appliances Delivered & Installed
- Washers
- Dryers
- Refrigerators
- Televisions (TVs)
Compensation
- 70% of the daily delivery rate paid to the Owner-Operator Team
- Only deduction is the required insurance payment
- Consistent work available Monday through Saturday
Responsibilities
- Report to the warehouse by 5:30 AM
- Load and secure appliances safely
- Deliver appliances to customers’ homes
- Install appliances according to company and manufacturer guidelines
- Remove packaging materials and maintain a clean work area
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch
- Complete deliveries safely and efficiently
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Requirements
- Must own and operate a 26-foot box truck (or comparable delivery truck)
- Must have a reliable helper/team member
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift and move heavy appliances safely
- Experience with appliance delivery and installation preferred
- Professional appearance and customer-service skills
- Smartphone capable of using delivery applications
- Must be dependable and punctual
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience delivering and installing appliances
- Experience working with washers, dryers, refrigerators, and TVs
- Knowledge of customer-service best practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
