Duties
- Greet customers warmly, listen actively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs to provide clear service recommendations.
- Coordinate with technicians to schedule repairs and maintenance, ensuring timely completion of all work.
- Explain repair estimates, service procedures, and vehicle diagnostics clearly to customers, fostering transparency and trust.
- Sell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, transmission services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, and other automotive diagnostics etc.
- Manage service writing by preparing detailed work orders that reflect customer concerns and technician recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper records of all payments received.
- Promote automotive maintenance plans and additional services to maximize customer value while enhancing dealership sales goals.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of service offerings including auto estimating software and repair procedures across various systems like transmissions, suspensions, brakes, tires, and more.
- Ensure all customer interactions are professional, energetic, and solution-oriented to foster long-term relationships.
- Maintain a unmatched level of customer service and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service and sales background is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes a plus.
- Proven ability with technology, software and service writing ensures accurate documentation of repairs and estimates.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that builds rapport quickly.
- Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and transparency with customers.
- Familiarity with automotive sales processes is advantageous for promoting vehicle-related products or upgrades.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
- Valid cash handling skills combined with professionalism in managing financial transactions.
