What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd Shift Quality Control Technician position at Martin's Snacks?
SUMMARY
Monitors all aspects of quality, including raw materials through finished, packaged products to ensure only the highest quality products are manufactured for the consumer. The ability to effectively communicate these results throughout the organization is vital. The work week begins on Monday and the hours are 9 PM - 6 AM and this is a 32 hour per week position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Monitors quality of raw materials through finished products that includes, scheduling receiving and storage of raw materials
- Performs quality analyses, shelf life testing, and quality improvement testing (salt level, moisture level, free fatty acid level, raw potato attributes, etc.).
- Performs directed research and development tasks.
- Monitors and maintains product specification information.
- Communicate good and poor QA results for continuous improvement of products to all levels of the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience preferred but not necessary
