What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Seasoner/Packer/Sanitation position at Martin's Snacks?
SUMMARY
- Controls product flow and seasoning application
- Estimates product changeover times
- Cleans machines, conveyors, walls and floors
- Operates forklift as needed
- Packs bags of finished product into boxes for shipment
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Seasoning application and product flow
- Packs up to 80 bags per minute into boxes
- Counts number of bags that go into each case
- Lifts boxes onto conveyors
- Palletizes boxes onto a skid
- Supplies packing lines with cartons.
- Sticker sale priced items as needed
- Inspect finished potato chips
- Clean machines, conveyors, chip bins, walls and floors as needed
- Recognizes problems with equipment, product, or packaging and immediately reports to management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) and;
- Three to six months related experience and/or training or;
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
