Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of baked goods, including pastries, bread and confections with precision.
- Handle food production tasks such as mixing, baking, portioning, and packaging to ensure freshness and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively to ensure the store is always well stocked with fresh bread and baked goods.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and offering product recommendations
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety standards are met at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in baking, or pastry arts.
- Strong skills in food preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Prior experience with food packaging and presentation is a plus
