Martin Marietta is currently looking for a motivated Lube Tech to join our team. The individual hired in this position would be responsible for performing mechanical repairs on diesel-powered mobile equipment including troubleshooting and repairs of heavy equipment, rebuilds, removal and installation of mechanical parts, and preventative maintenance on all types of diesel-powered equipment. This will be located at our Ames Mine located in Ames, IA.

This is a full-time position that regularly requires 40 hours per week in a surface mine setting. This role frequently operates heavy equipment.

- Ability to work safely at all times
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant mobile equipment including CAT, Komatsu and Volvo quarry/construction equipment/ diesel engines
- Mechanically inclined on a wide variety of hand tools and power tools
- Weld, cut and perform minor fabrication on plant or mobile equipment
- Other duties as assigned

- HS Diploma or GED required
- 3 years of related experience
- A valid driver's license
