Martin Marietta is seeking a Sr. Customer Service Coordinator to lead the order entry and fulfillment process within the Martin Marietta Magnesia Specialties division. The role involves interfacing with external customers and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless sales cycle.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for entering customer orders into the ERP system and then monitoring the shipment until the delivery is successful.
- Directly engage with customers, providing value-added support to enhance their overall experience.
- Partner with commercial and manufacturing team members to handle periodic account actions, including pricing notifications, sample requests, regulatory inquiries, quality issues, and specific billing questions.
- Assist in the setup of new customers and managing existing customer information within the internal system database.
- Assemble and distribute relevant sales and order reports to the organization.
- The ideal candidate should have 5 years of experience in an account support role, demonstrating a customer-centric mindset.
- The ability to work both independently and with cross-functional teams is essential.
- Strong administrative skills are required, including proficiency in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
- Capability of performing multiple tasks and effectively prioritizing while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills are important for success in this role.
- Associate’s degree or higher
- International shipping experience
- Experience working with ERP systems – JDE, SAP, etc.
- Expert level proficiency of Microsoft Excel
