The Network Administrator will be responsible for service delivery, documentation, and operational support of the enterprise network infrastructure. A solid technical background in various network technologies, including but not limited to routing/switching, WAN, and wireless communications, is required.
Responsibilities
- Engage in network planning and implementation
- Provide operational support for enterprise network infrastructure as required
- Leverage technical and industry knowledge to exercise good judgment, evaluate trade-offs, and plan for risk mitigation during the design and implementation project phases
- Aid in health monitoring of enterprise network operations and services
- Assist others with understanding network technologies and industry best practices
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and be attentive to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, while maintaining a courteous attitude when dealing with customers and users
- Willingness to complete several concurrent tasks in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, multi-tasking environment
- Ability to explain technical terms in everyday language
- Experience with Switching (VLAN, Spanning Tree, Industrial), Routing (EIGRP, BGP), WAN Technologies (MPLS, VPN, SD-WAN), Wireless
- Knowledge of network management and monitoring tools (SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog)
- 2 years of hands-on experience designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting enterprise architecture with an emphasis on networking technologies
