Asphalt Plant Foreman Production Lakewood, Colorado Description Hourly Employment Application - for all hourly positions that do not require a CDL License. Description Note: This position is under the operating Engineers union. Applicant will be required to join IUOE Local 9 Position Summary Supervise operational activities to include Asphalt plant production, Asphalt plant maintenance, and mobile equipment in one of our plants. Responsibilities Responsible for training and development of team, scheduling, performance management, and effective leadership of hourly workforce Successfully lead the Company's safety initiatives Working knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations and possess a strong personal commitment to safety Implement environmental processes and regulations Successfully lead and manage to established production, safety, and environmental objectives and metrics Participate in yearly planning of asphalt plant production, plant maintenance and salary costs to meet budget goals Manage parts and supply inventory Effectively work with vendors and subcontractors planning plant maintenance and repair activities Other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience preferred 2+ years' experience in industry preferred Minimum 1-year supervisory experience in a mining environment preferred Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Proficient on PC to include MS Office suite Ability to work flexible schedule as required; including nights and weekends Bilingual in Spanish a plus We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $38+. Membership with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local Union No, 9 is required upon hire. Condition and terms of employment and benefits are in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
