Automotive Service Manager – Martin Kia, Newark, Delaware
Martin Kia, Delaware’s number one Kia dealer by sales volume, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department.
We’re looking for a hands-on leader who can develop a strong team, improve department performance, and deliver an excellent customer experience. If you have a successful background in dealership service management, preferably with an import brand, we’d like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily service department operations, including service lane activity, scheduling, and shop workflow
- Recruit, train, coach, and hold team members accountable for performance
- Improve repair order volume, technician productivity, and departmental profitability
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements
- Maintain consistent communication with customers and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
- Ensure quality repairs, timely completion, and compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Build a team culture centered on customer satisfaction, accountability, and collaboration
Qualifications
- At least five years of automotive service management experience, preferably in an import dealership
- Proven ability to lead a service team and achieve department goals
- Strong understanding of dealership service operations, repair procedures, and financial performance
- Hands-on experience supervising the service lane and managing shop workflow
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy dealership environment
