What are the responsibilities and job description for the Professional Farm Manager position at Martin, Goodrich & Waddell, Inc.?
Martin, Goodrich & Waddell (mgw.us.com) has been serving landowners for 50 years. We are looking to add a Farm Manager to our growing business:
· Location: Sycamore, IL or DeWitt, IA (MGW office locations).
· Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
· Related Experience: Agricultural background required, and preferably a minimum of 10 years of experience.
· Accountabilities: Oversee farmland properties, track land performance, manage capital improvements, analyze returns, negotiate leases, prepare reports, and communicate closely with clients. Some travel to properties is required; most land is situated in the Midwest.
· Required Strengths: Self-starter/hard working, oral and written communication skills, detail orientation, integrity.
· Compensation: Competitive salary and bonus package, commensurate with experience.
