Architect

Martin Gardner Architecture is searching for a full time Architect that will manage all in-house duties on smaller projects or specific sections of larger projects independently. This position is expected to contribute more to the design process and take on increased leadership in their areas of expertise. The position of Architect is an integral part of the design team, contributing expertise, creativity, and technical skills to projects. This role requires a solid foundation in architectural practice, design capability, and experience in project involvement.

Position Requirements

• A professional degree in architecture from an accredited program is required.
• Licensure is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience. Seasoned candidates encouraged to apply

Job Responsibilities

• Design Contribution: Contribute to the architectural design process, supporting the development of concepts and translating ideas into design solutions.
• Project Support: Assist in architectural processes, aiding in project coordination, documentation, and ensuring alignment with project goals and schedules.
• Technical Assistance: Apply technical knowledge in architectural design principles, building codes, materials, and construction methods, supporting project requirements. Knowledge of programs such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other architects, designers, engineers, and any other team members, contributing to a cohesive and effective working environment.
• Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings, contribute to design discussions, and assist in maintaining positive client relationships throughout project phases.
• Documentation and Assistance: Support in maintaining project documentation, reports, and presentations, aiding in accurate record-keeping and smooth communication with team members.
