Janitor

Martin Energy Group is seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. This position is responsible for routine cleaning and upkeep of offices, restrooms, common areas, and other areas throughout our facility.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
• Dust and wipe down desks, furniture, counters, and common surfaces
• Clean breakrooms and other employee common areas
• Refill restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
• Clean entrances, hallways, offices, and other designated areas
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized manner
• Perform other general cleaning and facility-support duties as needed

Qualifications

• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean workplace
• Ability to safely use common cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift
• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required
