Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School is seeking a creative, collaborative, and student-centered
The Teacher will design engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. The teacher will work closely with colleagues, families, and support staff to create an inclusive classroom where students are known, challenged, and encouraged to take an active role in their learning.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold or be eligible for an appropriate Massachusetts teaching license
- Have experience teaching elementary-aged students
- Use differentiated instruction to meet a range of learning needs
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Value project-based learning, student voice, and hands-on exploration
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and student support staff
- Be committed to culturally responsive teaching and building strong relationships with students
