Title: Access Center Manager
Program: Palm Springs Access Center
Hours: Forty hours per week, flexible to meet program and client needs

Job Summary
The Access Center Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff supervision, and program implementation within the Access Center. This includes planning, organizing, and directing services; ensuring compliance with policies and funding requirements; monitoring service delivery; and maintaining strong community and interdepartmental relationships.
Essential Functions
- Plan, organize, and supervise the activities of Access Center staff, ensuring effective operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Develop, implement, and update protocols, work processes, and program procedures to ensure compliance with organizational and funder requirements.
- Monitor program performance, maintain accurate client data and service records, and prepare required operational, statistical, and financial reports.
- Provide leadership, coaching, training, and performance evaluation for staff; hire, onboard, develop, and discipline employees as needed.
- Review and validate timesheets for payroll; ensure staffing coverage and daily operational readiness.
- Work closely with other departments and agency leadership on policy matters, operational issues, and program coordination.
- Maintain a strong internal and external customer service environment; professionally respond to participant concerns, service issues, and operational challenges.
- Ensure adherence to all agency rules, regulations, safety protocols, confidentiality standards, and security procedures.
- Represent MVK in contacts with government agencies, community partners, and the public; support outreach and program awareness activities.
- Maintain organized documentation, ensure program areas are clean and functional, and oversee proper filing of required paperwork.
- Build and sustain positive working relationships with staff, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and presentations as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as required to support program needs and organizational goals..
Qualifications
- Associate degree, or a combination of college coursework and at least two years of experience in a role closely aligned with the duties of this position.
- Preferred: Education in Social Services or a related field, plus one year of experience working with an at-risk population.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing homelessness or other at-risk circumstances.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate a high level of activity under varied conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions consistent with MVK’s philosophy, policies, and procedures.
- Reliable transportation to visit job sites and community partners.
- Current California driver license, acceptable driving record, and proof of insurance.
- Bilingual English Spanish preferred.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
