Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive robotics curricula that integrate principles of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate instructional design best practices, ensuring clarity and engagement for students with varying learning needs.
- Facilitate hands-on activities such as robot assembly, programming, and dissection to deepen understanding of mechanical and electronic systems.
- Utilize learning technology tools to enhance classroom instruction and student interaction with robotics projects.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, project evaluations, and formative assessments; provide constructive feedback to support growth.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
- Mentor students in scientific research projects, competitions, and extracurricular activities related to robotics and STEM fields.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, engineering, computer science, or a related STEM field; teaching certification preferred.
- Proven classroom management skills with experience in lesson planning and curriculum development for diverse student populations.
- Strong knowledge of robotics systems, programming languages (such as Python or C ), and working with microcontrollers like Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
- Familiarity with educational technology platforms and tools for instructional delivery and student engagement.
- Experience in laboratory settings including dissection, scientific research methodologies, and laboratory safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and motivate students effectively.
- Prior experience working with students in private school settings or specialized education programs is a plus.
