Martek has been awarded several long-term Federal contracts to provide a wide range of real estate talent. Our team is seeking a Fire Protection Specialist to join our team supporting the Department of Energy (DoE) with the required education and experience outlined below.

Part-Time, 20 Hours per Week

Responsibilities & Duties
- Evaluates fire protection systems including alarms, sprinklers, and suppression systems
- Coordinates inspections, testing, and certification with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ)
- Reviews facility layouts to ensure compliance with fire codes and safe egress
- Advises on fire risks associated with relocation activities
- Ensures compliance with NFPA standards and federal safety regulations
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Science, Safety Engineering, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional certifications (e.g., NICET, CFPS) preferred
