Job Summary
We are a heavy highway and bridge construction contractor seeking a highly organized and detail orientated Office Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for the front desk management, and providing administrative support with various office tasks reporting to the Office Manager.
Duties
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors
- Operate multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries, and direct calls efficiently using proper phone etiquette
- Maintain organized filing systems and records
- Coordinate and schedule field office requirements for engineers
- Maintain and organize office supplies and conference room
- Assist in preparing and tracking essential construction documents
- Utilize computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and Adobe
Skills
- Strong customer service with the ability to communicate effectively
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling calls
- Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Strong organizational skills to keep files and documents computerized
