Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to elderly residents
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Be able to assist with lifting, with or without mechanical lifter
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for individuals in your care
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Experience in dementia care is a plus
- Experience in assisted living or home care settings is desirable
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background checks
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
