Job Title: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Walk-in Cost Center: 451561324 Rice Lake-Walk In Care Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: 12-hour day shifts, variable days (United States of America) Job Description: JOB SUMMARY The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician, according to NP/PA Protocol, and within the scope of their License in the State of Wisconsin. This individual works within a cooperative department, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction. 12 hour shifts: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Required Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing or Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant Program. Preferred/Optional: None EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: None Preferred/Optional: Two years nursing experience or one to two years’ experience in specialty. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position. Minimum Required Current Applicable State Nurse License or Nurse Compact License, and Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Licensure. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire. Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).
