Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Work Shift: Average 36 hpw with 1 full day off per pay period. No nights, weekends or holidays.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus!
Under direction of a Radiologist, The Mammography Technologist performs various mammographic and/or molecular breast imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. All mammographic and/or molecular breast imaging procedures must meet the diagnostic quality standards established by the supervising Radiologist.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: High School graduate or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved (2 year) school.
Preferred/Optional: None
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: None
Preferred/Optional: Previous mammography experience preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: Must be ARRT certified in Radiology. Must obtain Mammography certification within one year of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Preferred/Optional: None

Preferred/Optional: Bone densitometry experience.

- International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (BD) certification within twelve months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required with an acceptable record.
