2nd Shift Production Position
$23.75/hour starting wage, 2nd Shift Premium $1.50/hour

Our production employees report to the Shift Supervisor and are responsible for the operation of various types of grinding, polishing and assembly of equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Run various production equipment which may include:
- Surface grinder (Slater and Okamoto grinders)
- Manual-vertical abrasive belt grinder (heeling arbor)
- Automatic-vertical abrasive belt grinder (Progec, Clone and Slater polishers)
- Manual-horizontal abrasive belt grinder (hand polishers)
- Assembly and packaging equipment
- Straightening Fixtures
- Observe machine processing for proper function and production of parts
- Running product through the machine cycle while maintaining quality standards throughout the process.
- Ability to keep information regarding production procedures and quality standards confidential
- Essential functions may be supplemented due to absence of others or changes in business conditions.
REQUIREMENTS
The position requires full physical mobility, good motor skills and manual dexterity to complete the abovementioned tasks including:
Ability to stand for up to 4 hours
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
Ability to read, understand and complete detailed instructions
