What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Marshalls Specialty Services?
Working safely in a fast-moving environment in various warehouse functions. These may include receiving and processing freight, checking in/out and physically moving inventory, loading, unloading, shipping and receiving, staging equipment for next day’s jobs, maintaining warehouse/shop yard cleanliness. To pick up and deliver parts, supplies and equipment to field technicians and installers. Assist Installers in the field and warehouse. Fueling vehicles. Other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position
Monday – Friday 6:30am - 3:30pm with extended hours as needed to complete work projects, parts runs and requests.

- Monitor Materials and Supply Levels & Notify Purchasing Manager for replenishment
- Job Site Deliveries & Pick Ups
- Warehouse Laundry
- Building Facilities Maintenance Tasks as Assigned
- Trash & Recycling Duties
- Insulation Regrind Duties
- Assist with Inventory Count Projects
- Assist with events and jobs as needed
- Assist with Fleet Maintenance tasks as assigned
- Work with company assigned software tools
- Other duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications
- Must pass drug and background screens
- Valid driver’s license and insurable through company insurance carrier
Education and Experience
- Able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing
- Prior warehouse experience, preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs safely
- Familiarity with inventory tracking software - preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to utilize GPS and read maps
- Ability to drive box or delivery trucks
- Mechanically inclined- good with tools and machinery, good at fixing things

Work Environment
This position works in a warehouse and shop yard environment as well as driving on public roads. Will be exposed to weather and warm and cold temperatures.
Physical Demands
Reaching, bending, stooping, walking, sitting, squatting, standing, holding, carrying objects and lifting – including heavy objects such as equipment up to 100 pounds. You must be able to see, read, hear, and speak and turn your head.
