The Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology is
inviting applications for a full-time academic ophthalmologist specializing in Pediatrics. The
successful candidate will enjoy a robust clinical practice with academic responsibilities including
the didactic and clinical teaching of medical students and residents. Opportunities to conduct
clinical research supported by an institutional trials team exist. This position includes clinical
and surgical activities at our Huntington campus facility as well as the Hoops Family Children’s
Hospital located on the campus of Cabell Huntington Hospital. Our faculty enjoy the benefits of
a well-established, expanding department with a collegial atmosphere.

Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
Required Qualifications
Education
Qualified candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
Experience
Must be eligible for a full and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of WV.
