In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and organizing lumber loads, ensuring all orders are completed accurately and on time, and assisting with local deliveries. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assemble and prepare lumber loads according to the Even Flow schedule to ensure all deliveries are accurate and on time.
- Maintain organized inventory of lumber materials, including daily cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Assist with local deliveries and yard operations.
- Unload incoming shipments and process returns in a timely manner.
- Keep the yard clean, safe, and well organized, maintaining proper storage for materials and equipment.
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately, noting any missing or back ordered materials.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and in all weather conditions. Dependability and strong teamwork and communication skills are essential. Candidates should be comfortable lifting and moving heavy materials safely and possess a valid driver’s license.
