This role partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The FP&A Manager will independently own core FP&A processes, develop advanced financial models, and provide actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning, Budgeting, & Forecasting
- Lead the development and execution of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Partner with business units to gather assumptions, inputs, and financial data for planning and forecasting models.
- Analyze actual results versus budget and forecast, identifying key drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted finance partner to leadership by providing analytical support for strategic initiatives.
- Perform scenario, sensitivity, and what-if analyses to evaluate the financial impact of business decisions.
- Develop financial models and business cases for investments, new initiatives, pricing, and capital allocation.
- Support M&A, integration, or other strategic transactions as applicable.
- Design, enhance, and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and recurring management reporting.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for senior management.
- Present financial results, forecasts, and insights in a clear, concise, and decision-oriented manner.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial reporting across business units.
- Build, maintain, and improve complex financial models for forecasting, valuation, and scenario analysis.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and data-driven investigations to explain financial performance.
- Leverage financial systems and analytical tools to improve insight generation and forecasting accuracy.
- Serve as an administrator for the company’s ERP and financial planning systems, ensuring data integrity, user access, and system enhancements.
- Project manage system implementations, upgrades, and integrations to support evolving business needs.
- Partner with IT and accounting teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and drive automation within financial processes.
- Train and support team members on system functionality and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with the accounting team to support and participate in the month-end close process, including proper revenue recognition and variance analysis.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial data flow between accounting and FP&A systems.
- Leverage accounting expertise to validate financial results and enhance reporting quality.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and standardization opportunities within FP&A.
- Enhance planning and reporting timelines, accuracy, and scalability as the business grows.
- Partner with accounting, finance systems, and business teams to improve data quality and reporting integrity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, operations, sales, and marketing teams.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders and act as a key financial advisor to business partners.
- Communicate financial assumptions, risks, and recommendations effectively to both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications preferred.
- 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related roles; financial services experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and valuation methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analytics tools; experience with automation and business intelligence platforms is a plus.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to design, implement, and optimize financial systems and processes.
- Solid accounting foundation, with hands-on experience in month-end close and financial statement preparation.
- Demonstrated experience with ERP or financial planning platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Adaptive Insights, etc.) in administrative capacities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in client-facing, consulting, advisory, or public accounting roles is a plus.

Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
